About the Journal
Jurnal Pertanahan was first published in print in 2007 with P-ISSN 0853-1676. Since 2021, it has been published online with E-ISSN 2797-1252. It is published twice a year (July and November) by the Center for Development and Standardization of Agrarian Affairs, Spatial Planning, and Land Policy (Pusbang SKATP), Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). This journal serves as an academic medium for disseminating research results, policy studies, and critical thinking in the fields of agrarian affairs, land, and spatial planning.
The Center for Land Affairs Development (Pusbang SKATP) managed the Jurnal Pertanahan until 2024. However, based on Official Memorandum Number 60.1/ND-100.7.LB.02/V/2025 and Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Number 6 of 2025 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/BPN, the Pusbang SKATP unit is no longer included in the organizational structure. Therefore, the Sekolah Tinggi Pertanahan Nasional will continue to manage and publish the Land Journal starting in 2025.
The Land Journal encompasses the following areas, without limitation:

- Survei dan Pemetaan (Survey and Mapping)
- Hubungan Hukum Keagrariaan (Agrarian Law Relationships)
- Penataan Agraria dan Tata Guna Tanah (Agrarian Structuring and Land Use)
- Pengadaan Tanah dan Pengembangan Pertanahan (Land Acquisition and Land Development)
- Sengketa dan Konflik Pertanahan dan Tata Ruang (Land and Spatial Disputes and Conflicts)
- Administrasi dan Manajemen Pertanahan (Land Administration and Management)
- Inovasi Pertanahan dan Tata Ruang (Land and Spatial Innovation)

Open Acces Policy
This journal is an open-access journal that provides free access to the full text of all published articles without charge readers or their institutions for access. Readers have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in Jurnal Pertanahan. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts (except editorial, commentary, and correspondence) in Jurnal Pertanahan undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. All manuscripts are sent to the reviewers anonymously. Reviewers’ comments are also sent anonymously to the corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. All the reviewers are subjected to submit their evaluation in not more than four weeks. Jurnal Pertanahan staff ensures that the referee reports are complete. On some occasions, the review process needs more time to seek the appropriate reviewers.
